German company has agreed to pay $5.1 million to the families of those who died and other affectees

 KARACHI (Dunya News) - Germany company KiK agreed to pay $5.1 million to the families of those who died and other affectees of the Baldia factory incident, which happened four years ago and took lives of 259 workers, reported Dunya News.

This German company had paid $1 million earlier but workers were not happy with that and said this amount was lesser than what was needed. On the fourth anniversary, German company agreed to pay five times more than the previous amount.

The money would be spent on the treatment of those, who were injured and would be given to the families of those, who passed away in that incident.
