Quetta hospital blast: SCBA President presents photo of suspicious man

QUETTA (Web Desk) – Barrister Ali Zaffar, the President of Supreme Court Bar Association, on Monday presented a photo of a suspicious man believed to be involved in Quetta hospital blast, Dunya News reported.

Speaking to reporters outside the Supreme Court, Barrister Ali Zaffar said the image was sent by Superintendent of Police (SP) in Quetta, claiming that the man wearing a black coat, was allegedly involved in Quetta carnage. 



He requested the law enforcement agencies and media to help identify the suspect.

The SCBA President also announced to observe black day on September 8th.

The Pakistan Bar Council (PBA) and Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) had announced seven-day mourning against the August 8 incident but lawyers in Balochistan are boycotting court proceedings on 14th day today, causing immense problems for litigants

On August 8, a suicide bomb packed with ball bearings tore through Quetta Civil Hospital and killed 70 people and injured more than hundred.

The bomber struck a crowd of some 200 people gathered at the Civil Hospital in the Balochistan provincial capital Quetta after the fatal shooting of Balochistan Bar president Bilal Anwar Kasi earlier in the day.

A faction of the Tehreek-e-Taliban, Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, had claimed responsibility for the attack.
