Benazir murder case: FIA presents challan in court
FIA has presented challan of Benazir assassination case in anti-terrorism court (ATC) of Rawalpindi. No charges were made on Former CPO Saud Aziz and SP Khurram Shehzad. The court recorded statements of 122 witnesses. In the challan, Saud Aziz and Khurram Shehzad were taken in column no 2 which means that both have no charges. And it is up to the court, if it calls these officers or not. It is said in the callan that Benazir;s killing could have avoided in case of better security measures. No major breakthrough has been made in the challan like the report of the joint committee. Baitullah Mehsud and five arrested culprits are held responsible in the challan. The case will hear the case on November 23.
