Garlic price reached to Rs 300 from Rs 150/kg while ginger, lady fingers and lemons were Rs 120/kg

LAHORE (Dunya News) – As meat and pulses price already reached new heights, vegetable price also increased to a whole new high, reported Dunya News on Saturday.

Garlic price reached to Rs 300 from Rs 150 per kg while ginger, lady fingers and lemons were sold at Rs 120 per kg.

Brinjal, pumpkin and tomato prices were also increased. Citizens stated that government should at least keep a check on vegetable and pulses prices including other basic necessities.

On the other hand, greengrocers stated that they weren’t raising vegetable prices by themselves.
