Land sliding near Lowari Tunnel leaves two injured, damages four vehicles
Several passengers have been stranded in Lowari Top due to the landslide.
CHITRAL (Dunya News) – Land sliding near Lowari Tunnel has blocked linking routes to Dir and Chitral at Ziarat stop from rest of the region, reported on Wednesday.
Heavy rain in the area has caused lightening strike at Lowari Top that resulted in land sliding. Sources told that as many as four cars have also been drowned in flood water.
The mishap has also left two drivers injured who have been shifted to hospital for medical assistance.
Reportedly, rescue teams have reopened the Dir road after cleaning process while work is underway to unblock the Chitral road for traffic.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has also been scheduled to visit Chitral to get briefing over the rehabilitation of flood affectees.
