Rabbani asks Nisar to ensure Shahi Syed's security amid threats
Had been receiving continuous death threats from extremists and target killers: Shahi Syed
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Awami National Party (ANP) Senator Shahi Syed was receiving secuirty threats while Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani on Thursday asked Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar to provide maximum security to the senator in this regard, reported Dunya News.
Addressing a senate session, Shahi Syed told the House that he had been receiving continuous death threats by extremists, terrorists, and target killers. Considering Shahi’s plea, Rabbani then wrote a letter to Nisar and informed him of the threats that he had been receiving.
Raza Rabbani said that Shahi had already informed him of threats and requested for security protection.
