Sahiwal: 7 killed in bus, truck collision
At least seven persons were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and truck near Sahiwal.
SAHIWAL (Dunya News) – According to details, a speeding bus collided with a truck coming from opposite direction near Sahiwal on Wednesday, killing at least seven people and wounding more than 35, Dunya News reported.
The ill-fated bus was travelling to Lahore from Sukkur. Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to District Headquarters Hospital where condition on seven injured persons is stated to be critical.
Drivers of bus and truck were among the dead. Eye-witnesses said that the bus was overloaded and was driven at a very fast speed.
