Peshawar: Two arrested as police foil attempt of smuggling weapons to Punjab
The detainees have been shifted to some undisclosed place for further interrogation.
PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – At least two suspects were arrested in Peshawar as police officers foiled an attempt of smuggling weapons to Punjab today (Sunday).
According to details, the officers conducted raids at different localities and apprehended the criminals from Pahari Pura area.
Arms and ammunition including 20 pistols, two machine guns and 20,000 cartridges were also recovered from them.
Moreover, the detainees have been shifted to some undisclosed place for further interrogation while the security officers have launched an investigation into the matter.
