LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Wednesday announced to stage sit-in at Lahore’s Mall Road on June 17 to demand justice for martyrs of Model Town.

Addressing a press conference in Model Town via video link, Qadri said that protest is their constitutional right.

“As Army Chief helped us registered the First Information Report (F.I.R), in the same way he will provide justice to us,” he added.

The protest will be attended by leaders of political parties, civil society and human rights organizations.

Qadri further stated that joke with the nation in the name of ‘TORs and Parliamentary Committee’ to probe Panama Papers must stop.

He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s quick recovery after an open-heart surgery is a ‘miracle’.

The PAT chief will arrived in Lahore on June 15 through a private flight.
