Principal of Law College gunned down in Quetta
The victim died on his way to the civil hospital.
QUETTA (Web Desk) – Barrister Amanullah Achakzai, the principal of Law College Quetta, was gunned down by unknown armed suspects in Quetta today (Wednesday).
According to police, Barrister Amanullah was on his way to work when unidentified assailants riding on motorcycles opened fire on him in Kalli Tarkha area.
The victim died on his way to the civil hospital, a policeman said.
A group of lawyers arrived at the hospital and strongly protested against the incident. Later, they marched towards Governor House and raised anti-government slogans.

Doctors reported that Amanullah was hit by five to six bullets.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri strongly condemn the incident and ordered an inquiry into the attack.
Amanullah Achakzai was nephew of Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai and Pashtunkhwa Miilli Awami Party (PMAP) leader Mehmood Khan Achakzai.

Relatives of the victim told that he had no enmity against anyone. Nobody immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
Quetta is the capital of the restive Balochistan province, which is also home to a separatist insurgency that has been raging since 2004.
