KP police finalise security plan for Ramazan

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Security arrangements have been finalised in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to provide peaceful environment to the people during Ramazan.

Holidays of policemen have been cancelled whereas security measures have been tightened further on all the entry and exit points.
Inspector General (IG) KP has said that terrorists are targeting policemen therefore they have also been directed to adopt safety measures.
Besides this mosques administration have also been given security guidelines in which they have been requested to take on special steps during prayer and Taraweeh timings.
The steps include light management, keeping an eye on strangers and suspicious items.
Apart from policemen, Rapid Response Force and Elite Force have also been put on alert.
