Pakistan army would always meet the nation's expectations: COAS

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) epartment on Thursday stated that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif convened formation commanders’ meeting while addressing the meeting. He said that Pakistan faced various challenges as the nation had been influenced by terrorism for over a decade, reported Dunya News.

The armed forces, through unprecedented professional capabilities and nation’s support had changed the situation and that Operation Zarb-e-Azb had entered into its final phase, successfully destroying militants’ hideouts, Raheel Sharif said.

Talking about China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he said that Pakistan army had information of possible international conspiracies trying to destabilise Pakistan and CPEC. "We are ready to pay any price for the realisation of this dream project and Pakistan army will always meet the nation s expectations", COAS added.
