Authorities arrest 34 suspects; weaponry, explosive material recovered
The suspects have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Security agencies conducted a large scale operation in Islamabad against terrorists on Wednesday. Rangers and police arrested 34 suspects and recovered weapons on identification of intelligence agencies, reported Dunya News.
Police and Rangers conducted combing operation near the area of Islamabad Expressway which lasted several hours. Law enforcement agencies conducted door-to-door operation near Khana, Pandorian and Ghauri Town.
The authorities recovered 40 rifles and pistols of different bores. The apprehended suspects have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
