Musharraf reaches London, greeted by party workers at Heathrow airport
Musharraf will be staying in London for a week and will then be traveling to the US.
LONDON (Dunya News) – Former President General (Retd) Pervaiz Musharraf reached London from Dubai Saturday. He was greeted by All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) workers at Heathrow airport while staff of Pakistan’s High Commission was also present for his welcome.
Talking to Dunya News, Musharraf stated that he had arrived in London for his medical examination. The former President stated that he will be staying in London for a week and will then be traveling to the US. He added that he will return to Pakistan as soon as he was feeling better.
Musharraf arrived without protocol from the airport using the normal route. Pakistani Passengers were surprised upon seeing the former President traveling amongst them.
