Karakoram Highway reopened for light traffic: ISPR
Army continues playing its effective role to facilitate people affected in the flooded areas of GB
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Karakoram Highway on Friday has been reopened for light traffic. The highway was affected at 159 different locations as a result of land sliding, reported Dunya News.
Pakistan Army continues playing its effective role to facilitate the people affected in the flooded areas of Gilgit-Baltistan. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department, 43 wheat-laden trucks will be provided to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) has reconstructed a 350-metre long road at Dasu whereas 100 metre area of Canal bridge has also been reconstructed.
