Iran not involved in any activity against Pakistan: Ch Nisar
Interior Minister addressed an important press conference on Saturday
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Interior Minster Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan addressed a press conference on Saturday and stated that the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani s recent visit to Pakistan has been quite productive but an impression is being given that Iran is involved in certain activities against Pakistan, reported Dunya News.
Nisar said that the Irani authorities have expressed their concerns over news proliferating in a certain section of the media which is portraying Iran in a negative manner despite of a very positive recent visit of the Iranian President. He added that Iran has always supported Pakistan in the hour of need and that the neighbouring country is not involved in any activities against Pakistan.
He also praised the media at the same time stating that it has played an important role in "defusing" the recent protests in Islamabad.
