Karachi: Religious leaders to continue sit-in until release of detainees, alleviation of cases

KARACHI (Dunya News) Religious parties continued to protest on the 4th day at Numaish Chowrangi on Wednesday while heavy contingents of police were deployed in the surroundings of the area, reported Dunya News.
The administration waited for the decision of talks in Islamabad and after a successful dialogues between government and the protestors, demonstrators in Karachi announced to continue the protest until arrested protesters are released and dismisall of the cases registered against them is ensured.
Advisor for Religious Affairs to Sindh CM Abdul Qayyum Soomro hoped that protestors will call off the sit-in and assured them that police will soon release the demonstrators and dismiss cases filed against them.
