Peace, health and education are top priorities of the government, the Chief Minister said.

QUETTA (Web Desk) – In a clear message to the anti-state elements, Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri on Thursday said that there is forgiveness for those involved in terror activities in the province, however, doors will always remain open for talks.

Speaking to the reporters in Quetta, Zehri said that the provincial government is committed to bringing durable peace in Balochistan.

Peace, health and education are top priorities of the government, he added.

He said that people sitting abroad should stop inciting youth.

Balochistan has been roiled since 2004 by a separatist insurgency aimed at seeking greater control over the province‘s rich oil, gas and mineral resources.

There is another dimension to the troubles in in the province.

Pakistan suspects India of trying to create trouble in the region by instigating the insurgents but New Delhi denies this.
