Security forces arrest 27 suspects in Islamabad

Separately, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has apprehended another nine criminals
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Security forces have arrested as many as 27 suspects in different search operations in the federal capital, Dunya News reported Monday.
Police, Rangers and intelligence agencies seized huge cache of weapons during the operations.
The security forces carried out operations in precincts of Bani Gala police station and adjoining areas. During checking of hostels, hotels and houses, the forces seized Kalashnikov, rifles, pistols and around 500 bullets.
Separately, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has apprehended another nine criminals in different areas in crackdown against human smugglers.
Anti-human trafficking cell of the agency conducted operations in Lahore, Kasur, Faisalabad and Okara and arrested nine culprits.
The arrested criminals include Muhammad Ramzan, Rana Aftab, Muhammad Shakeel, Shahid Mehmood, Saeed, Saqib Anwar, Nadeem Akbar, Asghar and Aslam Pevrez. The criminals include seven fugitives and a trail-absconder.
Several cases were registered in different cities earlier against the culprits for illegally migrating citizens.
On January 24, the agency had nabbed three human traffickers during separate raids in Lahore, Hafizabad and Wazirabad.
The security personnel took Muhammad Qasim in custody in Hafizabad and confiscated forged documents from his possession. The suspect was shifted to police station for further inquiry.
On the other hand, the FIA s cell launched an extensive operation in Wazirabad and netted another two criminals identified as Usman Ali and Rana Khan.
Meanwhile, two absconders Mohammad Ranfique and Mohammad Yaqoob were arrested in Lahore.
It should be noted here that the federal agency had launched the crack down against traffickers on directives of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar.
