Rangers lay hands on Tharparkar's cleanliness, water supply

The force initiated a cleanliness drive on emergency basis in Chachro's locality

CHACHRO (Dunya News) – Rangers have now laid their hands on restoration of potable water supply and cleanliness of Tharparkar along with their security responsibilities, Dunya News reported Saturday.

Chachro locals took the matter to 51 Wing Qasim Rangers after disappointment from the Sindh government and district administration.

The protesters appealed Colonel Salahuddin to resolve their issues relating to lack of basic facilities. Following the appeal, Rangers contingent reached the locality and summoned TMA among other administrating bodies.

The force initiated a cleanliness drive on emergency basis and restored water supply.

Locals said that last four town officers, Mehboob Zardari, Zulfiqar Abro, Gada Hussain Zardari and Nazeer Panhor did corruption worth billions of Rupees in the past seven years.

In the last two months, TMA Zulfiqar among others have not utilized Rs 1.30 crore funds, provided by the government on any development project, they added.

They said that other elected representatives in Chachro cover up corrupt officials’ wrongdoings.
