Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has called a meeting of the chief justices of high courts to review measures taken for the security of top judicial functionaries.The meeting is believed to have been convened because of a Punjab Special Branch report about an alleged plot to assassinate LHC Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif who is reaching superannuation on Dec 8.The meeting will be attended by Chief Justices Khwaja Mohammad Sharif of Lahore High Court, Sarmad Jalal Osmany of Sindh High Court, Ejaz Afzal Khan of Peshawar High Court and Qazi Faez Issa of Balochistan High Court.
