Firing incidents claim 4 lives in Karachi
At least four people were killed in firing incidents in different parts of Karachi on Wednesday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire at a vehicle at the Tipu Sultan Road and shot dead one person and wounded another. The deceased was identified as Afzal.
Unidentified gunmen shot dead Shaukat Shah near Korangi Causeway while Mansoor was gunned down in Lyari Sango Lane area. Another man named Ijaz Hussain was also killed in firing incident in Khokhrapar area.
Separately, Police arrested two accused in injured condition after an encounter in Garden area. In another operation, police recovered 70 kilograms of heroin from a taxi on Maripur Road. According to SSP City an accused was also arrested.
Police also conducted a search operation in Clifton Hindu Para area and arrested 15 suspects. According to SSP South two wanted criminals were among the arrested persons.
On the other hand, Rangers conducted a search operation in Ranchore Line area and arrested notorious target killed Rehan alias Sheena. A Rangers spokesman informed that Rehan alias Sheena was involved in several cases of target killing, extortion and robbery.
