Journalists protest against Afridi's offensive behavior towards sports reporter
Journalists asked PCB to issue show cause notice to Shahid Afridi for his conduct
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Federal Union Journalists (PFUJ) protested in front of Lahore Press Club against offensive behavior of Shahid Afridi on Wednesday, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, journalists were holding placards with slogans against Afridi and demanded him to apologize from journalists. The protesting journalists said that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should issue show cause notice to Shahid Afridi for his conduct. Pakistan’s Twenty20 skipper Shahid Afridi got angry on Dunya Tv’s sports reporter Sanaullah’s question regarding Pakistan’s poor performance in the recent T20 matches under his captaincy.
The reporter asked: "Team lost majority T20s under your captaincy, what is your plan for T20 world cup?"
Agitated Afridi replied: “I have always expected that you will ask such cheap question.”
