ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Foreign Office spokesperson in Islamabad on Sunday has said that Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir’s visit to Islamabad, scheduled for today, has been postponed.

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir was due to arrive on a two-day official visit to Pakistan on Sunday.

During his stay, he was to hold talks with Pakistani leadership including Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on different regional and international issues.

The two sides had to discuss ways and means to enhance their bilateral relations.

According to diplomatic sources, Saudi FM was supposed to discuss Pakistan’s possible role in 34-nation military alliance against terrorism.

Sources report that significant decisions had to be taken in this regard.

Saudi FM’s meeting with Advisor for Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz was also scheduled in which they were to exchange views on security situation in the region, Afghanistan, Yemen crisis and threats in reference to Daesh.
