Chilas: Land sliding blocks Karakoram Highway
Karakoram Highway was blocked due to land sliding in Tatta Pani area on Saturday.
CHILAS (Dunya News) – A massive 6.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Pakistan of early Saturday morning also caused a land sliding in Tatta Pani area due to which Karakoram Highway was blocked.
The National Disaster Management Authority s spokesperson said that no loss of life was reported due to land sliding in Tatta Pani. However, Skardu was cut off from rest of the county due to land sliding.
Karakoram Highway has been closed for all kind of traffic as hundreds of vehicles were stranded due to land sliding in the area.
