SARGODHA (Dunya News) – Woman and two daughters were killed as house caught blaze in factory area while police have detained her husband and his first wife under suspicion.

Wife of Wazir Rehmani, resident of Mohni Road, Shakeela Bibi was asleep with her children four-year-old Bushra and three-year-old Iman Fatima.

All three were killed as house caught fire due to alleged gas leakage. Late Shakeela’s brothers said that their sister was married to Rehmani around six years ago as his first wife was barren. The couple used to argue a lot over birth of two daughters one after the other.

The family has alleged Rehmani of trying to electrocute their daughter a few days ago. Upon failure, Rehmani set his seven-month-pregnant wife and two daughters on fire.

On the other hand, Rehmani has told the police that gas leakage caused the fire incident and he has no part in what happened. However, the police have taken the bodies in custody and launched investigations.
