Flood water enters Sajawal city

Floodwaters have entered Sajawal city, Raju Nizmani, Jati and Tando Hafiz Shah in Thatta district following a breach in Sarjani protective embankment. Army helicopters are actively involve in supplying food supply to the areas worst hit by the flood. Around 200,000 residents of Shah Bundar and Jati have been shifted to safer places in view of the floods. Turkish, Iranian and Saudi teams are also participating in the relief activities. As many as 100,000 flood victims have spent night under the open sky. An American delegation visited the flood affected areas and announced more tents for the flood victims.
