Major terror bid foiled as 6 terrorists arrested in Lahore
They have been transferred to an undisclosed location for further investigation
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday foiled a major terror bid as they arrested as many as 6 terrorists after raiding Township and Bedian Road areas of Lahore, Dunya News reported.
According to details, 6 terrorists have been arrested after the CTD police raided multiple areas of Lahore. Heavy cache of weapons and explosives were recovered from the terrorists’ possession.
As per the sources, the arrested terrorists were planning major militancy activities in the provincial capital.
Reportedly, the CTD unit initially raided Khokhar Chowk area of Township and arrested 3 terrorists from there and after extracting information, raided Bedian Road area and took 3 more of their accomplices into custody.
The arrested terrorists are Inamul Haq, Yasin, Attaullah, Umar Sajid Jhangvi, Hidayatullah Farooqi and Muhammad Sadiq. They have been transferred to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
