Cylinder blast in Karachi's battery shop injures three people
The cylinder present inside the shop blasted during rescue operation.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Atleast three people including a women and a fire brigade official was killed during a blast in battery shop in New Karachi today (Friday).
The incident occurred near Naala stop where fire erupted due to short circuit and engulfed the whole shop.
Fire brigade officials reached the scene to control the fire.
The cylinder present inside the shop blasted during rescue operation as a result of which a woman residing in the neighbourhood and two officials of fire brigade Maqsood and Zafar got injured.
The wounded were shifted to hospital for medical assistance whereas the shop was severely damaged by the blast.
