Blaze in Karachi garment warehouse doused after one hour

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A sudden fire that erupted in an old cloth warehouse in Karachi’s Agra Taj Colony on Wednesday morning has turned the garments into ashes.

According to details, as many as eight fire tenders successfully extinguished the fire after the struggle of one hour however, the rescue officer stated that the huge blaze has badly gutted the warehouse. He claimed that the flame-hit storehouse was perhaps the biggest old cloth depot in the metropolis.



A firefighter at the scene said that the building could not be recommissioned for at least a week for business.
