Train derail near Safdarabad railway station , none injured
The incident occurred due to over-speeding and negligence of the driver.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Engine and two bogies of Badar Express enroute to Faisalabad from Lahore derailed near Safdarabad railway station today(Friday).
According to details, the incident occurred due to over-speeding and negligence of the driver as a result of which the train engine and two bogies derailed and sunk into the ground.
However; no life of loss has been reported yet.
Local people gathered and pulled out the passengers unharmed from the train whereas no official of district and railway administration reached the spot for assistance due to which problems were faced to shift the people to safety.
Besides this other trains are also finding difficulty to travel as relief operations could not be initiated on time.
