Karachi: ATC approves challan against RAW agents

Sindh Interior Ministry has also issued notification to initiate the proceedings of the five cases.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi has accepted the challan against three suspected RAW agents today (Saturday) belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

Investigating officer presented the challan in five cases before the court in which it was stated that the suspects were detained from the super highway and illegal arms, ammunition and explosive material was seized from their possession.

Sindh Home Ministry has also issued notification to initiate the proceedings of the five cases.

Security agencies have detained several RAW agents from Pakistan who are said to be affiliated with a particular political party. Most of them were nabbed from major cities like Lahore and Karachi and had confessed their involvement in various terror activities.

One of the suspected RAW agent arrested from Lahore was an officer in Punjab police.
