2 rupees 19 paisas per relief for customers who used electricity in June, July: NEPRA
Electricity distribution companies have been directed to provide relief to consumers
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a notification stating that customers who used electricity in the month of June and July will be given relief of 2 rupees 19 paisas per unit.
The notification stated that the reduction in electricity tariff has been done after taking fuel adjustment into account. Electricity used in June has been cheapened by 2 rupees 19 paisas while electricity consumed in July has been cheapened by 2 rupees 13 paisas.
Electricity distribution companies have been directed to provide relief to consumers in the bill for the month of October. According to officials, consumers will get relief of 20 billion tariff electricity overall.
