President is apolitical, met with PML-N workers in personal capacity: spokesperson
There is no truth in the rumors : spokesperson
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- The Presidency has said that the President is a symbol of the federation, is above politics and does not possess political ambitions, reported Dunya News.
Presidential Spokesperson said that the President has been active in provincial politics of Sindh for a long time and his relations extend to a vast network of worker and their political leadership. That is why a large number of political activists are desirous to meet the President, said the spokesperson.
Recently, officials of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) requested to meet the President in personal capacity in Islamabad to which the PM asked Mamnoon Hussain to meet the persons in PM House.
Presidential Spokesperson has said that there is no truth in the rumors and dispelled any such notions.
