EC officer to monitor degrees verification: Secy EC
Secretary Election Commission Ishtiaq Ahmed said that a senior officer will monitor the scrutiny of degrees. He said that no action would be taken against the interests of the country. In a press conference in Islamabad, he said that Law Ministry will appoint new members of the EC. He said some decisions have been taken on degrees after the consultation and it is also requested to the Supreme Court to guide on degrees issue. He said that EC is a national institution and we wants to restore peoples confidence in it.
