No talk of increase in trade until diplomatic relations with India bettered: Khurram Dastgir

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Minister of Commerce Khurram Dastgir said on Wednesday that no increase in trade will be discussed till diplomatic relation with India is bettered, reported Dunya News.
Speaking at WAPDA House,Minister of Commerce said that last talks regarding trade with India had been conducted in 2014. Now government has made it clear, said the minister that until till diplomatic relation with India is bettered, no talks will be held.
Assuring the audience, Khurram Dastgir said that work is underway to solve the energy crisis. He said that engineers working on Kalabagh dam must cover all aspects so that it is easier to reach political consensus adding that alternative projects to Kalabagh dam are being worked upon.
Federal Minister of Commerce Khurram Dastgir said that producing electricity is not the only worry as another constraint is to provide citizens with low cost electricity so that the consumers are not burdened.
