Water from India causes destruction at Ganda Singh
District government has established a relief camp at Talwar post
KASUR (Dunya News) – Height of water in Sutlej River has reached 20 feet on Monday as flood water enters villages. Thousands of acres have flooded under water, reported Dunya News on Monday.
61 thousand cusec rally has come passed through Ganda Singh. Water has passed through villages of Nagar, Rang Wala, Ratnay Wala Thati, Basti Bhanga, Basti Qeema Wala and Kamalpura along with various others.
People have started helping themselves as no government aid is visible. District government has established a relief camp at Talwar post.
In Khanpur dam, water levels have risen dangerously high at 9 thousand cusec feet. Spillway has been opened to allow the excess water to pass. Medium- level flood has come in Kalabagh, Chasma and Taunsa areas.
