Wasim Akram firing case: Car driver arrested by police
After arresting the security guard of a private company in Karachi, police also arrested car driver
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Police arrested the driver of the car in which people had come to first argue with the legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram and then opened fire at his car as well. 5 men in a silver car had first argued with Wasim Akram and then opened fire at his car on August 5. After arresting a security guard belonging to a private company in Karachi, police also arrested the driver of the car, reported Dunya News.
After Wasim Akram lodged the FIR against the suspects, police started efforts to arrest the culprits. Police’s efforts started to bear fruit when one of the suspects was identified as Aamir. After completion of the identification process, police arrested the suspect on Friday.
With the help of information provided by Aamir, police raided a place in Landhi Dadu Chorangi to arrest the driver of the car as well. The silver car used in the attack was also taken into custody.
