Negotiations with Afghanistan are necessary for long lasting peace: General Raheel Sharif
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Army Chief General Raheel Sharif inspected the Indian aggression on Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary at Corps Commanders conference on Tuesday. General Sharif said that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared to face any challenge, reported Dunya News.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Corps Commanders conference took place under leadership of General Sharif at GHQ, Rawalpindi under which Indian aggression on borders was discussed.
Addressing the conference, General Raheel Sharif said that negotiations with Afghanistan are necessary for long lasting peace adding that those who are sabotaging the negotiations are against peace and stability in region.
The Army Chief said that the army is ready to face any challenge. According to ISPR, Raheel Sharif expressed content at the security situation of the country. During the conference, Operation Zarb-e-Azb and security matters were also discussed.
