Lawyer gunned down near Safari Park in Karachi
Police officers launched an investigation into the after collecting evidence from the spot.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Some unidentified persons opened fire at a car near Safari Park in Gulshan Iqbal and shot dead advocate Ashfaq Ahmed while his companion Riffat Hussain sustained severe wounds, Dunya Newws reported on Monday.
On reaching the crime scene, police officers launched an investigation into the matter after collecting evidence from the spot.
On the other hand, lawyers are protesting against the murder of advocate Ashfaq Ahmed outside city court. The strike has also adjourned hearings of several cases.
Meanwhile, security agencies have apprehended two suspects of gangwar in injured condition and recovered weapons from their possesion during encounter in Lyari.
Separately, Garden Town police nabbed two more suspects involved in street crimes and shifted them to undisclosed place for interrogation.
