ATC bails MQM's Rauf Siddique

Siddique has already got protective bail from the Sindh High Court (SHC)

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday has approved bail of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Rauf Siddique against submission of bonds worth at least Rs 1.

Siddique, accompanied by Barrister Saif reached the court and filed a bail plea. Siddique’ counsel presented arguments for his client’s bail. The court accepted the bail plea however, ordered Siddique to participate in ongoing investigation in local police station.

The court ordered Siddique to appear in police station before August 3.

Earlier, Muhammad Bakhsh, a resident of Bhens Colony had filed a case against Siddique in Sukhan Police Station. He had accused Siddique of being a part of MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s provocative speech on July 22 by making arrangements.

However, Siddique has already got protective bail from the Sindh High Court (SHC).
