Report proved me innocent in 'rigging' case: Iftikhar Chaudhary
I will give his statement once he gets versed with contents of report, said former Chief Justice
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhary said on Thursday that the report of Judicial Commission has proven that he was not involved in any type of rigging in the general elections 2013, reported Dunya News.
According to officials of Election Commission, 2013 general elections have been declared free and fair. They have said that minor irregularities are common in an election of such large magnitudes.
Iftikhar Chaudhary has also commented on the matter saying that his name is finally clear from alleged rigging in election. He said that he will give his statement once he gets versed with contents of report, adding that he has obtained a copy of commission’s verdict.
