Shab-e-Qadr being observed with traditional devotion

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Shab-e-Qadr (27th night of Ramazan) of the 1436th Hijri year is being celebrated in Pakistan and many other parts of the world tonight with traditional devotion. Jamia Naeemia scholar Raghib Naeemi said that those praying tonight are the luckiest of the people, reported Dunya News.
Talking exclusively to Dunya News, Raghib Naeemi said that praying on this night is of great significance. He said that everyone should ask for forgiveness for his sins in this night as it is the night in which Quran was bestowed upon Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w).
This night has been declared as a revered night, a night better than 1000 other nights. Gabriel and other angels come to the Earth in this night say Amen when a person prays in this night.
Mosques throughout the country are being illuminated and decorated for this occasion and religious gatherings are being arranged especially for this night. Quran is being recited and Naats are being read in hundreds of thousands of mosques throughout the country tonight.
