Govt gave Pakistan nothing but crises: Pervez Elahi

Metro track has sunk under rain water, Punjab govt should now start rowing boats, says PML-Q leader
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Former Chief Minister Punjab, and Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) leader, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has on Monday said that the current government has given Pakistan nothing but crises. He said that the Metro track has sunk under rain water. “Punjab government should start rowing boats on the track now”, said the former CM Punjab, reported Dunya News.
Warning the Punjab government about floods, Pervez Elahi said that the government didn’t do anything about the floods last year but should do something this year at least. He said that only one rain has exposed the incompetence of the rulers. “Government’s ‘good governance’ was washed away in the Lei Stream”, taunted Pervez Elahi.
Former CM Punjab said that the farmers faced losses worth billions of rupees last year due to floods but government couldn’t do anything and the situation is quite similar this year as well. He said that the government didn’t seem to be doing anything for the floods. He said that the people are praying to the God only as they have no hopes in these rulers.
