Massive power breakdown plunges Karachi into darkness
The load shedding caused intense problems for the citizens during Sehr time.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – More than 60 percent area of Karachi plunged into darkness for atleast three hours due to the massive city-wide electricity breakdown, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
Several areas of of the metropolis remain in the dark after Hub national grid station tripped resulting in power cut in Malir Cantt, Gulshan Iqbal, Federal-B area, Nazimabad, North Nazimabad and Chowan.
The load shedding caused intense problems for the citizens during Sehr time.
The K-Electric officials stated that 12 grid stations were affected and were being repaired for three hours after which electricity has been restored in the affected areas.
Karachi also went into darkness a day before which was restored after 18 hours.
