PFMA calls off strike

The Pakistan Flour Mills Association (PFMA) called off the 5-day long strike after the governments assurance that their demands would be met on Monday. According to sources, the PFMA has announced to end the strike continued for five days in a protest against the unofficial ban imposed by the Sindh Government on the supply of wheat. The strike caused a temporary shortage of the commodity in Punjab. The flour mills across Punjab had been observing a complete strike for the last five days in a protest against the unofficial ban imposed by the Sindh Government on the movement of wheat causing difficulties for the citizens.
