Sharif brothers planned Model Town murders and issued directives to the Punjab Police
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Monday has said that the planning of Model Town incident was done in the Prime Minister (PM) House.
He expressed these views in a brief press conference after he reached Lahore from Dubai today.
He said that he does not accept JIT’s status and sanctity. Media personnel are eye-witnesses of the torture and atrocities committed in Model Town, he added. PAT chief said that no joint investigation team (JIT) was needed to probe Model Town incident.
Qadri said that given his condition, he is not able to stand for a long time. He said that the planning of as many as 14 murders was done in the PM House. He said that he discards the JIT formed by murderers.

PAT chief said that murders of innocent people were planned in Islamabad by the ruling party. He demanded law enforcement agencies to ensure justice in the matter. While asnwering a question, he said that the party would cooperate in the matter if fair investigations are conducted.
