A large number of patients are admitted in Jinnah Hospital, Civil Hospital and Abbasi Hospital

KARACHI (Dunya News) – 29 people lost their lives due to heatwaves in Karachi on Saturday as the death toll rose above 1130 for the past week. Many people are admitted in hospitals for treatment, reported Dunya News.

Signs of humidity, suffocation and heat are present in the metropolitan city as more than 1100 people have lost their lives due to the heat. Most of the deaths have occurred due to heat strokes.

A large number of patients are admitted in Jinnah Hospital, Civil Hospital and Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

A team of Bahria Town visited Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The team was led by Director Disaster Management Cell Brigadier(R) Tahir Butt.

He visited the various wards of the hospital.

40 checks were distributed among the patients by Bahria Town team.

The patients suffering from the heatwaves expressed their gratitude for helping them out in times of need.

Director Disaster Management Cell said that they had contacted hospitals all over the city and inquired if they needed any medical items.
