Sirajul Haq calls for supremacy of law

He said all parties need to quit party agendas and to unite on the agenda of serving the nation
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamaat Islami chief Sirajul Haq on Saturday criticized all political parties including the government, Dunya News reported.
Speaking at an iftar dinner, Haq said that Karachi operation is considered fine when low profiled targets are caught but when bigger fish are caught, the political parties start an outcry.
He said there should be supremacy of law and that no one should be above the law. He said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the establishment are same, adding that this fight is not permanent.
Jamaat chief said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif have ruined people’s peace through load shedding. He reminded that Shahbaz Sharif had promised to end load shedding in six month and had offered to change his name if he didn’t.
He said all parties need to quit party agendas and to unite on the agenda of serving the nation.
