Larakana is facing electricity outages between 12 to 16 hours

LAHORE (Web Desk/Dunya News) – Citizens across the breadth of country protested against unscheduled load shedding on Saturday. In Peshawar, Water and Power Development Authority’s (WAPDA) office was surrounded in the leadership of a provincial minister. Advisor to Prime Minister (PM) Ameer Maqam on political affairs was attacked and had his clothes torn, reported Dunya News.

Protestors lead by Provincial Minister for Forestry Ishtiaq Armad surrounded WAPDA house in Peshawar.

Protestors threw stones at WAPDA House and attacked Advisor to PM on political affairs  car. Police was also tortured when it tried to stop the proceedings.

In Sukkur, heat also got the better of citizens as agitated protestors blocked airport road and burnt tires on the road.

In Toba Tek Singh, protestors including women and children came out to protest against unscheduled load shedding and blocked Jhang road.

In district Tharparkar, various cities experienced loadshedding spanning up to 2 days.

In Mithi, citizens protested near Kashmir Chowk and blocked Islamkot road.

In Och Sharif, agitated citizens also blocked various roads to protest against unscheduled load shedding

In Zhob, protestors also staged protest against load shedding. They burnt tires and shouted slogans as well.
